Letters of Marie-Antoinette (LMA)

The “Letters of Marie-Antoinette” (LMA) project aims to catalog and make Marie-Antoinette’s outgoing—and eventually incoming—correspondence available in digital form.
The original manuscripts are scattered across several public archives, both in France and abroad, as well as in various private collections. The project aims to centralize these sources for researchers and the general public.

The edition is available on the EMAN platform, using the Omeka Classic software. Hosting is provided by the Thalim Laboratory (CNRS-ENS-Sorbonne Nouvelle). Transcription and encoding are carried out using the TACTEO platform.
