

The “Concepts et langages” doctoral school, which is part of Sorbonne Université, is home to over 400 doctoral students, guided by nearly 150 research supervisors in the following five academic disciplines: philosophy, musicology, language sciences, information and communication sciences, sociology.
To give substance to this remarkable body of scientific knowledge, the board of the doctoral school decided to organise a first summer school in September 2024, in collaboration with the Centre de recherche du château de Versailles. The aim of gathering together young researchers from the various disciplines, on a voluntary basis, to attend a two-day programme of lectures and visits, all conducted in the same place.
Building on the success of the first edition, a second summer school was held on September 8 and 9, 2025. These two days were closed to the public.
For this second edition, 18 doctoral students presented their work around a new theme: “Thinking about Culture(s).”
